I will be adding the haze effect to the 30 stadiums, but without the player shader as it makes it too smoky for a lot of people. All the stadiums will be similar to the effect in this pic. this is from the very first one u tested on this blog
or this second option
what does the player shader do?
ReplyDeleteit was just a grayish look of the player models that i used in the demo
ReplyDeletei liked the other one
ReplyDelete@JOHN... your blogsite is now off the hook bro.. I'm glad people are noticing and participating on it... Keep it up.. Goodluck on your mods..
ReplyDeletethanks ric!!
ReplyDeleteI will most likely use the one in the first pic because that one made a good impression on everyone who tried it.
ReplyDeletefirst one looks too smokey... 2nd one looks more realistic
ReplyDeletebase on the pictures.. i think the second one is better...
ReplyDeletebecause the dark area in the first one stand out so much.. im only judging by those pictures though
i haven't tried the second one..
can't you just put a very lite film grain effect in the game.. so that all got some and no one standout.. like in the upper area and for the players also?.
i think this mod is similar to the film grain effect. can you try that if it's possible?
wow thanks for the feedback, Matt. Im sitting here going nuts trying to figure out which one to use.
ReplyDelete@Buu
Thanks for the feedback. I looked into but i couldnt find anything. But its something i will research more, if i can find which file holds the player of the game mode
@JOHN.. there is a Player of the game.iff file there. maybe it's the file ...
ReplyDeletei like the second better its clearer and more evident the crowd is there and an individuals are more clear where as the other is rather blobish kinda
ReplyDeleteon second look the difference is between crowd clearness and players. if u could find a way to fuze the player shadows but keep the crowd shadows lighter thatd be ideal but i can see the tossup o and btw apparently im not the only matt
ReplyDeletehahaha, i noticed too!
ReplyDeleteI will make a modified crowd file for this mod to reduce the top crowd sticking out too much, like i did in the second pic
ReplyDeletegood thinking i look forward to seeing it
ReplyDeleteLast thing for now if u need a beta tester with modding experience id be glad too crash bugs regardless ive help make mods for cod4 like openwarfare/pro mod as well so hit me up if u need help although i would need a little teaching in the way of 2k
ReplyDeleteI prefer second option looks more realistic
ReplyDeletethe second one looks more realistic
ReplyDelete+1 for 2nd version..
ReplyDeletelooking good as always, john. i prefer the 2nd one...
ReplyDeleteI know this is offtopic but...LaMarcus Aldridge cyber face please? thx for the mods.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Ive got 14 teams done so far
ReplyDelete@Nic - I don't do cyberfaces at the moment, mainly because there are so many doing them
Will this slow down FPS like with the beta?
ReplyDeleteyes it will slow down performance if you dont have a top notch graphics card.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this.... Keep it comin bro... goodluck with this.. I've sent you a PM in NLSC...better check it out.. maybe it can inspire you..
ReplyDeleteSomething wrong is with Kings Arena. This slow down too much FPS, much more than other courts. pls fix it.
ReplyDeleteThis is liquidswords8, Thank you johndoe for your hard work and taking time out of your day to make 2k Basketball a more and enjoyable game for all of us to play. there is something missing from vincemeister gamedata that needs to be put in the Basketball Nets, there are two good patchers that made some great nets michaelvlutz and papubino, can you make two gamedata files with these nets? because some people have there own preference, paupubino made some thicker nets that looks awesome in nba 2k11, and michaelvlutz has a alot of nets to choose from that also looks great in nba2k11.
